THIS is Worth Knowing

School teaches us many things, like math and science; reading and writing; and how to speak correctly.  However, it doesn't teach us things that are really worth learning, quoted by Neil Gaiman.  For example, teachers should teach us how to communicate properly with different people.  Also, how to carry out our emotions and feelings.  Of course, teachers teach us how to talk to other teachers because if we are disrespectful, we get consequences; however, they don't teach us how to talk to others, such as little kids and friends.  For instance, I've seen many people say inappropriate things in front of little kids and they learn from it.  That shouldn't be the way to talk with little kids.  A lot of people think that this is just something that should be common sense, but it actually isn't.  When I express my feelings to my friends, I don't know how to say something that won't make any of us feel bad.  We should learn how to optimistically share thoughts in school.  All of our regular school classes help us with our careers, but communication comes into play with all of them.  In fact, while you're at an interview, companies look for people that can communicate well because it is a good working skill to have.  Communication is a really big part of life and I really think that teachers should teach us more communication skills with different age groups in school.
